2018

From 17-21 October 2018 Amsterdam Dance Event features events and artists over five days in clubs and venues and attracts over 400,000 people from all over the world to the city, making Amsterdam the busiest club festival in the world.

Years of preparations and cross Asian collaborations made it finally possible to create a platform and a networking event where East meets West next to panels on the ADE conference.

About ADE
ADE consists of a conference (day) and festival (day & night) program. Which basically means that the city of Amsterdam is all about electronic music for five days and nights, with events  In 2018 the ADE conference featured over 600 speakers at the conference with 9,000 delegates. ADE club festival featured 2,500 artists at 1,000 events in around 200 venues.

It's impossible to visit all clubs and venues, so for 2019, start planning early and secure your tickets in time, as single festival events will be sold out way before October. In the meantime you can sign up here to get personalized ticket updates and to create and save your personal program.

Of course, ADE is about having fun. But it also means business. Which is why over 9,000 professional delegates from over 90 countries visit ADE to network and exchange ideas. Most of them are working in the field of electronic music, but ADE also attracts numerous delegates from outside the scene. Whether you're looking for examples of great branding, innovative technology or just the latest musical trends, we've got you covered with our multiple conference tracks.

China and South Korea hosting full days at ADE's newest venue: The ADE Guesthouse
Dance music culture never stops expanding worldwide, and so ADE's coverage of global scenes continues to expand too. As part of the ADE Pro programme in 2018, and in conjunction with the main ADE events, their newest venue – The ADE Guesthouse – has been taken over on the Wednesday and Thursday of ADE by delegations from China and South Korea respectively.

On these days, in this central location just around the corner from the DeLaMar, you were be able to meet all the vital players from this region. Throughout the day there were keynote speeches, panels and exhibitons, but more than anything, as with all of ADE, this is about face-to-face time, about getting to know the individuals involved. ADE delegates who stop in to visit on these two days won't just find themselves better-informed about the territories, but they'll come out with real understanding of musical and business cultures, ready to do business in that region!

House of China
House of China is a new independent pillar within the ADE framework that brings the leading corporations of the Chinese dance music industry under one roof at the heart of ADE in Amsterdam. The event is in full cooperation with ADE and is the only official ADE China conference program during this 23rd edition of the world’s largest festival and business conference for electronic music. House of China is part of the ‘ADE Guesthouse’. This program focuses on different markets and takes place in De Balie.
